Volkswagen badges these special edition cars the Jetta Trek and Golf Trek the only vehicles in their categories to come standard with a race-ready mountain bike and custom roof rack.

The Golf and Jetta Trek represent Volkswagen's continuing commitment to active lifestyle sports like mountain biking, which reflect the interests and attitude of many Volkswagen owners.

Last year, the German automaker hit upon a unique way to add even more attitude and relevant value for these outdoor enthusiasts by introducing a mountain bike version of its top-selling Jetta. For 1997, this unique package extends to its popular Golf model.
