The 4T60-E 4-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission has a wide range of gear ratios, enhancing performance and fuel economy on Monte Carlo LS models. Operation of the 4T60-E transmission is synchronized and integrated with the performance of the 3100 V6 engine, all through the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
