Plymouth Voyager is available in three versions: base, SE, and Expresso models. New colors include Deep Cranberry, Champagne Peal Metallic, Alpine Green and Deep Slate.

SEATING - Buy The Voyager Here

In addition to the right side easy-entry Quad Command seat, an easy-entry Quad Command left seat is offered in 1998. Like the right, it tilts forward for access to the rear seat with the aid of a gas prop. To prevent spillage when the seat is tilted, the cup holder unit in the left seat assembly now attaches to the base seat, rather than the riser. To further improve seating, a mechanical lumbar adjustment is optional on the low-back front bucket seats of Voyager. For 1998, seating fabric has been improved for the base and premium models. For shopping convenience, seven hooks attach to the back of the three-passenger bench on all Voyager models to support plastic grocery bags.

ENGINE - Buy The Voyager Here

For 1998, the Plymouth Voyager SE offers a 3.0-liter 4EATX powertrain standard, replacing the 2.4-liter 4EATX and 3.0-liter 3ATX. The 3.0-liter 3ATX is still available on base Voyager models. Chrysler Corporation has introduced a new flexible-fuel engine technology for 1998. Chrysler Town & Country, Plymouth Voyager and Dodge Caravan minivans with 3.3-liter V-6 engines will be the first Chrysler production vehicles capable of running on either gasoline or a mix of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline, commonly known as E-85. These engines will be offered in the 46 states that are not adopting the California emissions control regulations. Chrysler's minivans sold in CA, MA, NY, and CT in 1998 will be equipped with a 3.3-liter engine that will meet the California Air Resource Board's Low Emission Vehicle standard for the first time.

SAFETY - Buy The Voyager Here

For 1998 the corporation that first offered integrated child safety seats introduces third-generation child safety seat features for 1998 as optional equipment on all models. A refined five-point seat belt system for the Child Safety Seats is more comfortable for the child than the former systems and makes buckling easier and belt removal simpler.
