1998 HONDA CR-V TAKES SPORT UTILITY MARKET BY STORM

In its first year on the market, the Honda CR-V has catapulted to the top of its class, as consumers embrace its all-weather, 4-wheel-drive versatility, affordability, driveability and interior roominess.  The CR-V is the first Honda-engineered and designed sport utility vehicle, and has quickly made Honda one of the leaders in the entry level SUV category in less than a year.  Originally introduced in February 1997, the 1997 model carries over to the new model year.
