I have had the worst experiance ever dealing with Chrysler and would recommend that NO ONE buy a car from them.  I bought a dodge neon from them brand new.  The first payment they called me to tell me I was three days late!  I got my contract out and explained to them that my sales agreement said the seventh of every month and today was the seventh.  They said no we have the fourth.  I replied okay well you gave me a ten day grace period.  this went on for two months I went to the dealership several times and they called chrysler to figure it out but yet again every month I would get a phone call and a late charge.  Finally after six months they changed it but still kept the late charges.

I have paid on this car for over four years, and in about three months it would be paid off, but March of this year I was in a accident with this car and it was totalled.  I told chrysler that I wanted to keep the car as is was still driveable but the side was smashed in and that I would continue my payments.  They agreed and so for the last couple months I thought everything was okay only to find out that they had sent back my last couple payments and sent someone to my home to repo the car.  The repo guy was very nice and left the car with me as I told him I wanted to call Chrysler and find out what was going on since they never told me they were going to repo it.  So my husband and I called them and they were VERY rude to us.  We asked to speak to a manager who called us degenerates and theives.  The manager refused to answer any of our questions and kept saying that he was going to get us for insurance fraud.  We offered him money on the phone and more and he still wouldn't talk to us just kept calling us names, then he hung up on us.  The repo guy came back that night and told us that he sees this daily with Chrysler and advised us to just hand over the car and not offer them any money.  He told us that he dealt with a guy a few days earlier that called Chrysler with him standing there paid them over a $1000 on the phone and when he got off the phone Chrysler called the repo guy and told him to take the car anyway.

They are the THEIVES and need to be brought to justice for what they are doing.  I have researched and no other car company has the repo rate that Chrysler does.

I am not perfect but we did not derserve what they did to us.  What's more is that because of the accident I am disabled and lost my job.  They didn't care they just wanted to screw me!!!!!

Chrysler's larger rival Ford Motor Co this week took a $2.1 billion charge for its finance company when it reported second-quarter results, in large part because of the hit it took on the declining value of SUV and truck leases. Cerberus also owns a 51 percent stake in GMAC, the former captive finance company for General Motors Corp.

Also, notice that Chrysler has tried so hard to become diversified that they have terminated most of the management that had any brains and most of their "white vendors." The management that is there now is going to keep getting them sued time and time again. There is a group of vendors trying to put together a class action suit against them for not using enough female, hispanic & handicapped vendors. They use mostly african americans in their lower level jobs, a white man in a wheelchair with a college edcation could not get a customer service job! The place has gone way down. Start calling around and complaining and all you get are african americans who "enjoy" talking down to people for whatever inferior reason. No matter how polite you are they act like they have no education or raising. It's like they finally get a chance to talk down to someone and can't handle the position.

Boy, you sure have some internal racial issues to work out (not to mention your financial issues).

First off, what does the race of the person who is insulting you have to do with whether or not Chrysler Financial is treating you in a fair and courteous manner. Would it be better for your (obvious) "white sensibilities" if a White person were hurling the insults and disrespectful attacks? Secondly, I too have had business with Chrysler Financial and have not encountered these "african americans who enjoy talking down to people ...." Funny, you should bring your racial animosity into a conversation about the poor business practices of an american car/finance company.

Finally, if a black person were guilty of bringing up IRRELEVANT racial issues, everyone (including you) would be yelling about "Playing the Race Card". Pray tell, does your "education and raising" (as you so eloquently put it), dictate that you racially stereotype a large corporations entire customer service division based solely on your (probable) misleading anecdotal experience?!

To dcfs, I just want to say you are very arrogant and how dare you compare yourself to other people making it look like you are the only one who pays their bills on time. Chrysler financial does NOT treat their customers right and no matter how much some of us try to fix things with them or show that their payments have been sent to them, their social-deficient customer service reps are of no help! It took 2 years to get them to change my due date because of the way my paycheck arrived, and I had asked may times to change this and I was told it was not able to be done. I finally demanded to speak to a supervisor who finally fixed the problem and now they get their payments on time. You need not make anyone else feel bad because you are so "perfect". Get over yourself and have some compassion or just feel free to not reply to posts about others who have had issues with CFS.

Tens of thousands of good Chrysler customers were not refinanced by Chrysler at lease end during the credit crunch. Chrysler forced them to turn in leased vehicles they wanted to buy. These-often very good repeat customers-were hit with turn-in fees (over mileage, damages, etc). Chrysler is now filing tens of thousands of LAWSUITS against these former loyal customers to collect this money! I bought 4 Chryslers since 2001. I made all the payments on time. Now Chrysler is suing me-and not paying back their government loans. Sound right to you? Think I'll buy another Chrysler?
