A search mechanism can match the customer's request with automobiles in a database of all Certified Pre-Owned BMWs. If the car they want is not available nearby (within 25 miles of their zip code), customers can chose to expand their search up to a 500 mile radius. If the car they want still isn't available, they can ask to be placed on a wait list and they will be notified by e-mail as soon as the car of their choice becomes available. Enhanced Warranty Coverage BMW's new Certified Pre-Owned BMW Protection Plan sets a new industry standard for its easy-to-understand language that lets the consumer know exactly what's covered and what's not. Not only does BMW's warranty policy spells out all components and systems that are covered by the warranty, it clearly states exclusions. The new Certified Pre-Owned BMW Limited Warranty, which commences upon the expiration of the four year/50,000-mile New-Vehicle Limited Warranty, provides enhanced coverage for a wide range of components for an additional two years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first.
