LOYAL CUSTOMER TAKES DELIVERY OF HIS 75TH NEW BUICK

FLINT, Mich. -- As Perry Miller drove off in his 2000 Buick LeSabre, he said he knew he had made the right purchase. His 75th right purchase, in fact. Since 1947, Miller has bought exactly 75 new Buicks.

"I am strictly a Buick guy," Miller said. "I've had few other cars, but they don't match up to a Buick."

Miller is no stranger to Buick. He worked for the General Motors division for 41 years, in the sales department for car distribution, retiring in 1977. Since buying his first car in 1947 (a Super), he usually has purchased a new Buick every six to nine months. He bought his all-new 2000 LeSabre from Patsy Lou Williamson Buick-GMC in Flint.

"Buick builds a quality car," he said. "It's like the slogan said years ago, 'When better cars are built, Buick's gonna build 'em.'"

Buick General Manager Roger W. Adams said Miller's dedication is a true testament to Buick's continuous quality, reliability, safety and value.

"Buick is proud of its reputation of having some of the safest, problem-free cars in the market today, which was proven with Buick's strong showings in the latest independent quality studies," Adams said. "The loyalty that Perry Miller has shown to Buick helps us keep our standards high for all our customers."
