REGAL'S COMFORT AND CONVENIENCE

To minimize fatigue during long drives and to give firm support during cornering, Regal’s remarkably comfortable body-contour seats were developed by our Seat Comfort Team, using over 100,000 miles of road-testing research. Some seating choices include:

Rear-Seat Pass-Through
This lockable, fold-down, rear-seat pass-through permits carrying longer items like hockey sticks or skis, and still leaves room for four passengers — something that the split folding seat in most of Regal's competitors doesn’t allow.

Steering Wheel Controls

Change stations, change the volume, hit mute or change sources-cycle between CD, cassette and radio - all without taking your hands off the steering wheel.

Dual ComforTemp Climate Control

Thanks to dual ComforTemp Climate Control, the driver and front passenger can individually vary the temperature on each side of the cabin up to six degrees so each can have their own level of comfort (optional dual automatic ComforTemp

Interior Spaciousness
Check out the space inside a new Regal. Compare the numbers and sit in the seats. Regal is one of the most spacious midsize cars you can buy.

REGAL'S PERFORMANCE

3800 Series II Supercharged V6 Engine
The 3800 Series II Supercharged V6 Engine in the Regal GS has 240 horsepower @ 5200 rpm with a supercharger that delivers power on demand. Regal LS features the 3800 Series II V6 with 200 horsepower.

Independent Suspension

The new and improved four-wheel independent suspension on Regal LS provides a sporty, controlled ride, and very responsive handling.

Gran Touring

The Gran Touring Suspension, a four-wheel independent suspension with 16-inch aluminum wheels and P225/60R16 touring tires, makes roads full of twists and turns difficult to resist. It’s standard on Regal GS and available on Regal LS.

Magnetic Variable Effort Power Steering

Magnetic variable effort power steering automatically adjusts the power assist of the steering. As a result, Regal is easy to maneuver at lower speeds, provides excellent road feel and precision at highway speeds.

Four-Wheel Disc Anti-Lock Brakes

To help drivers maintain steering control and to prevent skidding while braking on most slippery surfaces, four-wheel disc anti-lock brakes are standard on every Regal.

Traction Control

Traction control that reduces engine torque when wheel slippage is detected is standard on Regal LS. The standard full-range traction control on Regal GS senses drive-wheel slippage at any speed and automatically modulates the brakes and reduces engine torque until the driver regains a full grip on the road.

Electronic Controlled Transmission
The standard electronic controlled, smooth shifting, four-speed transmission has overdrive. It also has an electronically controlled capacity clutch that helps deliver excellent fuel economy and seamless shifts. (EPA EST. 19 city; 30 hwy Regal LS/18 city; 27 hwy Regal GS)
