For over half a century, the name DeVille has been synonymous with prestige, power and panache.  But it has also stood for automotive engineering and innovation.  When DeVille was introduced in 1949, it featured the world's first overhead valve V8, and Cadillac Division won the very first Car of the Year Award ever bestowed by Motor Trend magazine.  Today, this tradition of craftsmanship and engineering carries on in the renowned Northstar and StabiliTrak systems.  But DeVille has also embodied a unique and stirring style.   One that is intricately woven through the American fabric.  Yesterday, today or 50 years from now.

In honor of the DeVille's 50th Anniversary, the 1999 edition includes the 50th Anniversary identification on the exterior sail panels and seats, premium White Diamond paint, 16" chrome wheels, cassette and single-slot CD player, Nuance leather seating areas, and Zebrano wood trim.  Once again, it is poised to make history.  Happy Birthday DeVille!
