The Lumina Interior Makes Life Comfortable.
Lumina is designed for today’s families. You need a car that can handle life’s daily demands. You want space for friends, shopping bags, vacation gear -- and maybe even some growing "superstars." That’s why there’s Lumina Sedan. It has a remarkably roomy, quiet interior and a huge trunk.

Seats Six Just Fine.

The standard 60/40 split-bench front seat and spacious rear seat gives everyone their own personal comfort zone. Scotchgard™ protection -- a Chevrolet exclusive -- makes it easy to clean up those little spills and will help keep that good looking cloth interior looking like new for years to come.

Much to Feel at Ease with.
Pleasant conveniences you'll appreciate: standard Tilt-Wheel™ steering column, courtesy lamps, power door locks, theatre lighting -- even a front-seat, fold-down center armrest and two separate cup holders. What's more, Lumina Sedan is the most affordable six-passenger family sedan in its class -- which is another way of making life a little more comfortable.

Safety
The advanced safety technology engineered into every Lumina gives you less to worry about -- and more reasons to drive a new Chevy Lumina. This comprehensive safety package is designed not only to help protect you and your family in the event of a crash, but also to help you avoid one in the first place.

Anti-Lock Brakes
The GM-developed ABS VI four-wheel antilock brake system is standard on Lumina LS and LTZ and optional on Sedan. ABS reduces wheel lockup to help prevent skidding on most slippery surfaces while braking, and to help maintain steering control.

Safety Cage Construction
A high-strength steel safety cage (with reinforced floor and body sills, roof construction and pillars, plus steel side door beams) surrounds the Lumina passenger compartment

OnStar® Safety System (optional)
With this remarkable service, day or night, an OnStar Advisor is available to provide emergency help, directions, hotel, restaurant locations and much more. In an accident where the air bags deploy, OnStar will automatically send a call for help and your vehicle’s location to the OnStar Center, where trained Advisors will immediately contact emergency assistance. OnStar is a dealer-installed option. For more information call 1-888-667-8277, or visit the OnStar web site.
