Avenger’s standard dual overhead cam (DOHC), 16-valve, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine delivers 140 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 130 pound-feet of torque at 4,800 rpm for instant acceleration at low speeds.

The single overhead cam (SOHC), 24-valve, 2.5-liter V6* pumps out 163 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and a hefty 170 pound-feet of torque at 4,350 rpm.
