FOUR DODGE RAMS FINISH
IN THE TOP-TEN AT ODESSA

CRAFTSMAN TRUCK SERIES

ODESSA, MO. All of the Dodge Ram teams were optimistic at the beginning of the race in Odessa. It is a tough little track that put on an incredible show for the Missouri race fans. Jimmy Hensley lead much of the early stages of the race, sharing the lead with Stacy Compton and Dennis Setzer. At one point the top-four consisted of four Dodge Rams.

Dennis Setzer finished 2nd after leading much of the race before a push in the truck forced him to the second position.  Stacy Compton finished 4th placing him only 27 points out the championship points lead.  Jimmy Hensley finished 5th after leading much of the early stages of the race.  Randy Tolsma finished 8th after a hard impact into the outside wall with only three laps to go in the race.

Dennis Setzer, #1 Mopar Dodge
Finished 2nd:
" The truck was great all day and this crew did a great job getting us off of pit road in the lead. We developed a push late in the race and we just had the second fastest truck at the end of the race. Jack (Sprague) ran a great race and he just had a fast truck at the end. We are looking forward to another strong run at the Bristol Motor Speedway in two weeks."

Stacy Compton, #86 RC Dodge
Finished 4th:
" That was a pretty tough race, but it was a good race for this Royal Crown Dodge. It was a pretty physical race, the track was coming apart but they did a great job sweeping the track to keep it in good race condition. It was a good race for this team and especially after what happened last weekend. It shows how strong this team is, and we know that we will be a contender for this championship before the season is over."

Jimmy Hensley, #43 Dodge By Petty
Finished 5th:
" It was a great race, but we were loose all day and just could not get it tightened up all day. We were strong early in the race, and this team did a great job on pit road."

Randy Tolsma, #25 Supergard Dodge
Finished 8th:
"Good day for the Supergard Dodge, our guys did great all day on pit road and Gary Showalter continues to set up the truck great each weekend. Everything was going well, we were catching the yellows right for the pit stops and we got together with Stacy (Compton) toward the end of the race and we ended up in the wall. I hate it for this team because we have worked so hard, but we know that we will continue to improve week after week."
