Dodge's Partnership with the Skip Barber
Group

Dodge has an exciting long-term partnership with the Skip Barber Group. Founded in 1975,
the Skip Barber organization runs the largest racing school in the world as well as a
separately managed driving school. A former SCCA and Formula One driver, Skip Barber
employs approximately 200 people at four base locations: Lime Rock Park in
Connecticut, Road America in Wisconsin, Laguna SECA Raceway in California and Sebring
International Raceway in Florida.
The Vehicles
Four Dodge vehicles -- Magnum V8 Dakota, Neon A.C.R., Viper G.T.S. Coupe, Viper RT10
roadster -- are used at the Skip Barber Driving School to instruct students in performance
and active-safety driving techniques.
The Engines
The open-wheel Formula Dodge vehicles used by the Skip Barber Racing School are powered by
a stock 2.0-liter SOHC Dodge engine -- the same engine found under Neon's hood. The
Indy-Style Barber Dodge race cars used in the Pro Series are powered by the
same all-aluminum 3.2L V6 Dodge engine used in the Intrepid. The 12-race Barber Dodge Pro
Series is televised nationally on ESPN2 and is the most respected entry-level professional
racing series in the world.
