HONDA
CIVIC'S SAFETY FEATURES

DUAL AIR BAGS:
The front crush zone, dual airbags and 3-point seat belts help provide driver and
passenger protection in severe full-frontal and offset-frontal impacts. The steel door
beams help provide protection in a side impact, while the rear crush zone helps protect in
a rear impact.
FRONT CRUSH ZONE:
The front crush zone, dual airbags and 3-point seat belts help provide
driver and passenger protection in severe full-frontal and offset-frontal impacts. The
steel door beams help provide protection in a side impact, while the rear crush zone helps
protect in a rear impact.

ABS:
Civic's anti-lock braking system (ABS) uses a special modulator to pulse
the brakes to help prevent wheel lockup. This helps the driver retain steering control
when braking hard, especially on slippery surfaces (EX Sedan, available on EX Coupe with
automatic transmission).
