1999 Infiniti Model Change Highlights


Infiniti G20 Luxury Sports Sedan

The G20 is all new for the 1999 model year. The second generation G20 features a high-revving all-aluminum 4-cylinder engine, rear Multi-Link Beam' Suspension and a choice of two models; a fully-equipped Standard model and a sporty Touring (G20t) model. Highlights of the new G20 follow:

Infiniti I30 Luxury Sedan

The I30 was first introduced for the 1996 model year. In 1998, the I30 received minor refinements, including revised headlight and taillight designs and the introduction of the Infiniti In-Vehicle Communicator System (IVCS), capable of locating the vehicle and contacting emergency assistance through use of global positioning satellites and a built-in cellular telephone. Highlights of the changes for 1999 follow:

Infiniti Q45 Luxury Performance Sedan

The 1999 Q45 arrives with a number of mechanical and cosmetic enhancements, including the return of the center-mounted instrument panel analog clock. Other changes include new headlight and taillight designs and a new suspension for touring model Q45t), featuring electronically modulated suspension with driver-selectable settings. Changes to the 1999 Q45 include:

Infiniti QX4 Luxury Sport Utility Vehicle

The QX4 was introduced as an all-new addition to the Infiniti lineup as a 1997 model. Since its introduction, the QX4 has been a strong seller for the Infiniti marque and has set a new standard for technology and quality among luxury sport utility vehicles. The 1999 QX4 continues with no major changes for the new model year.
