Infiniti is one of only two engine suppliers to the Indy Racing League (IRL), which boasts the
Indianapolis 500 -- the crown jewel of motor racing -- as its centerpiece.

The latest Infiniti Indy engine is decidedly leaner and meaner than its predecessor. Based on the engine found in the Q45, this 4.0-liter DOHC 32-valve V8 power plant generates over 720 horsepower.

Odds are, you won't be tackling track curves at over 230 mph with a competitor at your shoulder and one breathing down your neck. But our racing experiences translate into improved engineering and performance in your personal Infiniti.

The nifty paint job, of course, is sold separately.

September 26: Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Las Vegas, NV (1.5-mile oval)
October 17: Texas Motor Speedway, Fort Worth, TX (1.5-mile oval)

*Saturday night race; all other races on Sunday.
