THE 1999 ISUZU HOMBRE

It's the up-for-anything 1999 Isuzu Hombre. Designed with you in mind. A combination of sporty looks and rugged dependability lets you handle anything from big jobs to big-time fun. Isuzu knows that there are some things you just can't do with a car.
When the road doesn't come up to meet you, let the available shift-on-the-fly 4WD system help you get where you need to go. Sometimes the road to work isn't totally smooth or dry or solid. Or even a road. That's when you'll really appreciate Hombre's electronic 4WD system. To send power to all four wheels, just push a button (at up to 60 mph). And when you're in need of some real stump-pulling grunt, stop and hit the low range button. Then wild horses couldn't keep you from your appointments.
Hombre's got loads of cargo room, and
power (available 180-hp V6 engine) and 4-wheel ABS -- all shining examples of how some
vehicles are designed to work from the weekday into the weekend. A double-wall cargo
box. Tie-down loops in all four corners. Sidewall pockets that with a pair of 2x6s
installed allow two-tier hauling. Over four and a half feet wide. More than six feet long.
And approximately 39.5 cubic feet of volume.
Not only does the Spacecab model let you carry up to five people, the Hombre is designed
to keep them safe. Each truck comes with dual air bags and an energy-absorbing body
structure that prove that this small truck is big on safety. Spacecab models can
carry up to five passengers -- three up front and two in the rear. Or flip up the rear
jump seats to haul extra stuff inside the warm, dry cab. And when the going really gets
tough, you can recline the front seat back and take a nice, long nap.
Along with side-guard door beams and an
energy-absorbing body structure, all Hombre models come with dual front air bags to
provide added safety. You can deactivate the passenger-side air bag with a key-operated
switch.
Every Hombre has at least two cup holders. Spacecabs feature two accessory power outlets.
The stereo and XS power windows work for up to 20 minutes after you turn off the ignition,
or until you open the door. Leave an inside light on, and it'll shut itself off to save
the battery.
So go get all your stuff!
