JAGUAR DAIMLER GENUINE CLASSIC PARTS

The Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust announces a new service for owners of Jaguar and Daimler classic cars.

The Trust has launched a range of genuine Jaguar and Daimler Classic Parts. Initially aimed at the more recent classic vehicles, such as Series I, II and III, XJ saloons and early XJ-S models, many of the parts are manufactured from original tooling.

Unipart DCM, who provide the world-wide mainstream parts service for Jaguar, will be distributing and marketing the Jaguar Daimler Classic parts range. The JDHT Classic Parts Services will be available through specially selected and approved Jaguar dealers strategically located throughout the UK.

Approximately 500 individual parts will be available initially, ranging from cylinder head gaskets to major body panels and chrome trim items.

Howard Davies, General Manager of the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust said, "The consistently expanding market for classic Jaguar and Daimler cars has significantly increased the demand for parts for these vehicles. From March 1999 classic Jaguar and Daimler enthusiasts will be able to source parts for selected vehicles from approved dealers. With the backing of Unipart's unrivalled expertise in parts logistics, this will ensure an efficient, competitive service to classic enthusiasts. Although initially aimed at the more modern classic cars owner, we will obviously be expanding the range in the future".

The Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust was established in 1983 and last autumn moved into a new purpose built headquarters and Heritage Centre at Jaguar's Browns Lane Plant.

The Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust is dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of Jaguar products and the Jaguar, Daimler, Lanchester and SS brands.

In addition to maintaining an outstanding collection of Jaguar, Daimler, Lanchester and SS vehicles, many of which are on display at the Heritage Centre, the Trust has a comprehensive document and photographic archive tracing the history of Jaguar and its associated marques.
