The Daimler V8 has a top speed of 150 mph (240 kph) and a 0-60 mph time of 6.9 seconds (0-100 kph in 7.3 seconds).

The Daimler Super V8 adds a supercharger to the 4.0 litre AJ-V8. The result is sensational: the Daimler Super V8, one of the world's finest luxury saloons, is capable of 0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds (0- 100 kph in 5.7 seconds).

The spacious interior of the long wheelbase Daimler is unmistakable. It is superbly finished in leather and richly grained Burr Walnut which is subtly enlivened by contrast piping on the seats and by matchwood inlays on the veneers.

The long wheelbase interior provides an extra five inches space between front and back seats to create an abundance of space for rear passengers. An additional electric front seat control, located between the front seats where it is easily reached by rear passengers, is designed to allow an empty front passenger seat to be moved fully forward to create even greater space in the rear.

To satisfy the requirements of the most dedicated hi-fi enthusiast a premium audio system has been specially developed with audio specialists Harman Kardon, the nine-speaker system includes CD player with autochanger and uses a separate 240 Watt eight-channel amplifier parametrically equalised to the Daimler interior to achieve optimum acoustic balance and quality.
