The Land Rover Driving School At The Equinox
is Land Rover's first dedicated off-road driving school in the United States. Similar to
Land Rover UK's celebrated "Driving Experience" in Great Britain, the school
operates year-round to provide enthusiasts with personalized instruction in all aspects of
off-road adventure.
You will experience numerous challenges, including natural obstacles, ditches, logs and
boulders on the school's own purpose-built training course. The degree of difficulty of
each program can be matched to suit your skills and desires. In addition, relaxed trail
drives of varying length are available, many opening onto the region's spectacular vistas.
Programs range in length from one hour to an entire day and include one-on-one training
and group sessions. While drivers of all types of vehicles are welcome to experience the
course, a special 10% discount is given to Land Rover owners.
The school's world-class driving techniques are the result of Land Rover's 50-year
heritage with adventure travel around the globe. Proper off-road driving involves
considerable finesse, care for the environment and passenger safety, which are the main
reasons the school emphasizes slow, careful route selection and precise vehicle control.
LOCATION OF THE SCHOOL
The Land Rover Driving School At The Equinox is located in the village of
Manchester on Historic Route 7A, near Mt. Equinox in Vermont. It is an easy 1 1/2- hour
drive from the Albany, New York airport.
