1999 RANGE ROVER: WHAT'S NEW?

1999 Range Rover has improved 0-60 mph performance. Range Rover 4.0 SE, is six percent faster 0-60 mph than the 1998 Range Rover 4.0 SE. Range Rover 4.6 HSE is more than 10.5 percent faster than the 1998 model.

1999 Range Rover's step-off distance (the distance traveled in four seconds) has improved. Range Rover 4.0 SE's performance is 9% better than 1998 Range Rover 4.0 SE's.  Range Rover 4.6 HSE's performance is 14% better.

1999 Range Rovers have 14 lb-ft more torque than the 1998 Range Rovers.

1999 Range Rovers have a brand-new Bosch engine management system.

1999 Range Rover features a new ln Car Entertainment (ICE) system.

1999 Range Rover has new leather trim on seats and doors.

1999 Range Rover has a new Thor manifold and a twin tailpipe exhaust system.

1999 Range Rover is equipped with front side airbags.

1999 Range Rover 4.0 SE has new 16-inch Typhoon wheels.  1999 Range Rover 4.6 HSE has new, 18-inch Hurricane wheels.

New colors for Range Rover in 1999 are Java Black, Niagara Gray and Blenheim Silver. These new colors complement Range Rover's other color choices, Oxford Blue, White Gold, Epsom Green, Woodcote Green, Rioja Red and Chawton White.
