For 40 years, we've been building trucks for the long haul. The new Nissan Frontier crew cab follows that tradition with the capacity to do even more.

Power: The standard 3.3-liter V6 generates 170-hp and 200 ft-lbs of torque so you can tackle hills with five passengers and cargo. The broad, flat torque curve develops 90% of maximum torque at 1,500 rpm -- ideal for off-roading and towing (automatic transmission up to 5,000 pounds, manual up to 3,500 pounds).

Ruggedness: All Nissan Frontier crew cabs feature the heavy-duty 4WD chassis, look, rigidity, ride height and ground clearance. And the full ladder frame is engineered to enhance torsional strength and resist twisting.

transmission: 5-speed manual or 4-speed electronically controlled overdrive automatic

2WD, or 4WD with automatic locking hubs, shift-on-the-fly up to 50 mph and an optional limited-slip differential

4-wheel anti-lock braking system (ABS) on power front disc and rear drum brakes

double wishbone front suspension with stabilizer bar, and rear rigid axle with multi-leaf springs and stabilizer bar for a car-like ride

two-tiered flexible loading system with inner bed rope hooks, single-handle rear gate operation, removable tail gate and three-way bed dividers for cargo carrying versatility
