Nissan Sponsors "Earth 2U"

Nissan’s cars may revolutionize how much geography America sees, but Nissan’s sponsorship of “Earth 2U, Exploring Geography” could revolutionize how much geography America knows.

This innovative educational outreach program was conceived after an international Gallup Survey found Americans had a poor grasp of geography. The traveling program, organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service and National Geographic Society, combines education, entertainment and hands-on activities to address this geographic illiteracy.

The Earth 2U exhibit kicked off its 5-year, 40-city national tour at the National Geographic Society in Washington, DC, during National Geography Awareness Week, 1995. It could be coming your way any time now.
