An unpretentious full size sedan that offers buyers a lot for their money. Comfort, reliability, and plenty of power are just a few of the traits that keep full-size sedan customers coming back to Oldsmobile Eighty Eight.

Consumer's Digest "Best Buy"
Value, that's why the Eighty Eight is the Consumer's Digest choice as "Best Buy" for the full-sized cars for eight consecutive years.  Consistent reliability and continuous refinements developed by Oldsmobile and General Motors have contributed to this outstanding record.

The Eighty Eight offers a spacious, well appointed interior.   Conveniences abound in standard features such as air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, door locks, traction control and the user friendly driver-side eight-way power seat adjuster controls mounted on the door panel within easy reach.

The Eighty Eight LS comes with bucket seats and a center console. An eight-way power seat adjuster, including power
recliners is standard on the drivers side and optional for the passenger-side. The console, with a storage armrest, cupholder and auxiliary power outlet, is integrated into the instrument panel. Also included on the LS is keyless remote lock controls, outside power mirrors, lighted visor mirrors and aluminum wheels.

For 1999 little has changed, two new exterior colors, Champagne and Evergreen along with white stripe 16" tires available on the Eighty Eight LS.  Considering the high price of many of the smaller midsize import sedans on the market, its easy to see why customers prefer the smooth, quiet luxury of Oldsmobile's time honored Eighty Eight.
