Hard Rock RockFest Presented by Oldsmobile Alero

More Than 12 Hours of Music
The all-star lineup, which boasts five of Billboard’s “Top 10 Modern Rock” acts, included headline performers Better Than Ezra, Collective Soul, Eve 6, Everlast, Live, Marvelous 3, New Radicals, Silverchair, Sugar Ray, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Offspring and Third Eye Blind. In addition to live music, Hard Rock RockFest presented by Oldsmobile Alero featured a unique entertainment zone complete with extreme sports demonstrations, interactive activities, lifestyle and cultural exhibits, a variety of vendors, a special on-site Hard Rock Café, and even a Ferris wheel.

RockFest to be an Annual Summer Concert Series
The 1999 Hard Rock RockFest presented by Oldsmobile Alero in Atlanta will be the first of three such annual summer festivals: it will also kick off the Hard Rock RockFest Concert Series with concerts at or near Hard Rock Cafes nationwide.

After the initial mega concert in Atlanta, RockFest will tour the country visiting six other cities. Three modern rock acts including Smashmouth and Marvelous 3 will be featured. Tour dates are as follows:

Sunday, July 25 Atlantic City Historic Gardener's Basin Park

Saturday, July 31 Cleveland Riverview Parking Lot

Sunday, August 1 St. Louis Union Station Parking Lot
