SATURN NAMED GOLD MEDAL BRAND
AS PART OF GM'S OLYMPIC SPONSORSHIP

After significant support of cycling in the United States since 1992, Saturn has been named a Gold Medal Olympic Brand by GM, the Exclusive Automotive Sponsor of the Olympic Games.

For the past seven years, Saturn has supported the sport of cycling on a national level, which has given Saturn retailers across the country a reason to get involved in the sport at the grassroots level. More than 200 Saturn retailers have chosen to support the Saturn Cycling program by sponsoring local clubs and teams, charity fun rides and cycling races.

At the pinnacle of the Saturn Cycling program is the professional cycling team. Today, the 21 pro riders embody Saturn's values of dedication, commitment, and teamwork. Members of the Saturn Cycling Team competed at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and the current Saturn Cycling Team lineup consists of Olympic hopefuls for the 2000 Games in Sydney, Australia.
