THE 1999 TOYOTA CELICA

Nothing characterizes a lifestyle of fun and freedom like a convertible. It's a
celebration on wheels - simply lower the top and lift your spirits. And with one as
stylish as the 1999 Celica, you'll raise a lot of interest, as well. For nearly 30 years,
the Celica has been one of the most popular sporty cars in America. It's no mystery,
really. A car with Celica's looks, performance and comfort - not to mention legendary
Toyota dependability - it's enough to make other drivers a little jealous. So jump into a
new Celica for some fresh air and a few rays. Just don't be surprised if you get a few
stares, too.
Celica Liftback

Loaded with standard features, the Liftback includes CFC-free air conditioning, multi-adjustable sport seats, a driver and front passenger air bag Supplemental Restraint System (SRS)*, cruise control, power windows and door locks, a Premium ETR/CD audio system with 6 speakers and diversity antenna and a rear spoiler.
Celica Convertible

The Convertible has all the standard features of the
Liftback, plus a Premium 3-in-1 ETR/Cassette/CD with 8 speakers and power antenna, fog
lamps, P205/55R15 All-Season tires with 15" aluminum alloy wheels and, of course, a
cambria cloth power top with a glass rear window.
* The Toyota driver and front passenger air bags are a Supplemental
Restraint System (SRS) designed to inflate in a severe frontal collision. In all other
accidents, seatbelts offer primary protection, and the air bags will not inflate. Do not
sit or place objects close to an air bag. To minimize the risk of severe injury or death
in all types of crashes, seatbelts must be worn at all times by all vehicle occupants. Do
not use a rearward-facing child seat in any front passenger seat. The force of a deploying
air bag SRS may cause serious injury or death. For more information on air bags and
instructions on child seat usage, see the Owner's Manual.
