The 1999 Toyota Corolla

Over thirty years of refinements have gone into Corolla, and during those years it has proven its dependability over and over again. No wonder people so closely associate it with value. For 1999, there are three models to choose from and each is available with an  extra value package that adds popular features.

Corolla Extra Value Packages

Combining popular features in this Extra Value Package, instead of purchasing them separately, saves you $500.00. The Extra Value Package for Corolla VE includes: air conditioning, rear window defroster, Deluxe AM/FM ETR/Cassette with four speakers and All-Weather Guard Package (heavy-duty electric rear window defogger with timer, heavy-duty starter and wiper motors and heavy-duty heater with rear heater ducts).

The Extra Value Package for Corolla CE includes: air conditioning, power windows and door locks and All-Weather Guard Package (heavy-duty electric rear window defogger with timer, heavy-duty starter and wiper motors and heavy-duty heater with rear heater ducts).

The Extra Value Package for Corolla LE includes: cruise control and All-Weather Guard Package (heavy-duty electric rear window defogger with timer, heavy-duty starter and wiper motors and heavy-duty heater with rear heater ducts).This Package is no cost to the consumer.

Corolla VE
It's our most affordable Corolla, yet everywhere you look, you'll see our commitment to quality.  Features include power steering, power-assisted brakes, Deluxe AM/FM ETR with four speakers, dual front air bags, available side-impact air bags, Daytime Running Lights (DRL), multi-reflector headlamps, front seatbelt pretensioners and force limiters.

Corolla CE
Our mid-line Corolla is anything but average. Standard features include a tilt steering wheel, 60/40 split fold-down rear seats, a Deluxe AM/FM ETR/Cassette, center console armrest with integrated sunglasses holder and wheel covers that enhance its fresh, contemporary lines.

Corolla LE
Extremely well-equipped, the top-of-the-line LE offers significant additions to the features found on the VE and CE models. Wider, 185-series tires deliver excellent traction and stability. Other standard features include CFC-free air conditioning; power windows, mirrors and door locks with "two-turn" unlock feature; a tachometer with LCD outside temperature gauge; and color-keyed protective bodyside molding, door handles and mirrors.

* The Toyota driver, front passenger and front seat-mounted, side-impact air bags are Supplemental Restraint Systems (SRS). The driver and front passenger air bags are designed to inflate in a severe frontal collision. The side-impact air bags are designed to inflate in severe side-impact collisions. In all other accidents, the air bags will not inflate. To decrease the risk of injury from a deploying air bag, always wear seatbelts, sit upright in the middle of the seat and do not lean against the door. Do not put objects in front of an air bag or around the seatback. Do not use rearward-facing child seats in any front passenger seat. The force of a deploying air bag SRS may cause serious injury or death. Please see your Owner's Manual for further instructions.
