Toyota Tacoma: Lean and Muscular

The rugged Tacoma 4x2 is your dependable partner. It boasts the
highest standard payload in its class. Not to be out done, the 4x4 model owns the bragging
rights to the highest ground clearance in its own segment which comes in handy when
clawing out of a rocky canyon. Both the 4x2 and the 4x4 come in Regular Cab, Xtracab or
Xtracab V6, and the 4x4 is available in the extremely well-equipped Limited grade.
Tacoma 4x2 Regular Cab
Standard features include a tilt-forward cloth bench seat, full carpeting and fabric door
trim, dual air bags with a passenger air bag cut-off switch, side-impact door beams, dual
outside mirrors, rack-and-pinion steering, power-assisted brakes, a 142-hp, 16-valve,
4-cylinder engine, a 5-speed manual transmission and a double-wall cargo bed.
Tacoma 4x2 Xtracab/Xtracab V6
The Xtracab models include all of the Regular Cab features plus the added roominess of the
extended cab: a cloth 60/40 split front bench seat with adjustable headrests; and
fold-down, forward-facing rear jump seats with 3-point seatbelts. There's also an
available 190-hp, 24-valve V6; power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering (V6 models); and a
black painted rear bumper.
Tacoma 4x4 Regular Cab
This model has all the great features of the 4x2 model but with a few extraordinary
exceptions - 4WD, a 2.7-liter 150-hp, 16-valve, 4-cylinder engine, power-assisted
rack-and-pinion steering and a set of styled steel wheels.
Tacoma 4x4 Xtracab/Xtracab V6
This Tacoma combines all of the 4x4 Regular Cab features with those of the 4x2
Xtracab/Xtracab V6: the extended cab, a cloth 60/40 split front bench seat with adjustable
headrests, fold-down, forward-facing rear jump seats with 3-point seatbelts, an available
190-hp, 24-valve V6, power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering (V6 models) and a black
painted rear bumper, 4WD and a set of styled steel wheels.
