WOMAD Festival-World Music & Arts Festival
July 30-August 1
Located in Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA. A music and arts festival founded by Peter Gabriel that annually goes to England, Australia, Japan, and some other international destinations. The Seattle area is its only U.S. destination. Volvo is a sponsor of this event. Volvo will show a white V40 that will be painted by a famous aborigine painter. The painted vehicle will travel around the Northwest area and will then be auctioned off at the Seattle Art Museum's annual charity auction. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster at 206 628-0888, there is no charge for children.
