Real safety also involves personal security. This is a matter of helping to protect you from burglary, theft and assault, so that you can feel safer when you are on your way to or from the car.

ESCORT LIGHTING
Escort lighting lights up your path to and from the car for half a minute.  Press the button on the remote control and the interior lights, parking lights, tail lights and lights on the outside rear-view mirrors (optional) all light up. Escort lighting can also be activated from inside the car.

ADVANCED ALARM
The remote-controlled alarm system has sensors in the doors, hood and tailgate (wagon). It can also be fitted with sensors that react to movement inside the car or to a change in level - if, for example, somebody tries to steal the wheels or tow the car away.

THEFT-PROOF LOCK SYSTEM
An electronic immobilizer makes it impossible to start the car without the right key. The only outside lock cylinder is in the driver's door and is of a new rotating type that makes it difficult for a thief to break into the car. The same type of lock cylinder is used for the ignition. And even if a thief does manage to break in, it is impossible to open the car doors from the inside.
