"We are really excited about
this multi-media promotion," said Arik Efros, F-150 SuperCrew brand
manager. "By incorporating TV and the Internet, we are able to
involve many people in the contest and familiarize them with the unique
product benefits of the F-150 SuperCrew. It's a great match – tough
football players and a tough truck -- an all-American sport and one of
America's great brands: the F-Series pickup."
The all-new F-150 SuperCrew is
tough, but it's also comfortable. As the only under-8500-pound GVWR
full-size pickup on the market with four full doors and a full rear seat,
it has plenty of room for up to six passengers. Standard power-adjustable
pedals make it easier for people of various heights to drive. An optional
bed-extender increases the 5½ foot bed to 7 feet.
Loaded with industry innovations
and options such as an auxilary power point in the rear compartment, power
moonroof, audio/video entertainment system for rear-seat passengers and
the available 5.4-liter Triton* V8 engine with best-in-class torque, the
F-150 SuperCrew expands the Built Ford Tough F-Series lineup by offering
customers a choice in pickups they never had before. It will be available
in dealerships in early 2000.
"The
F-150 SuperCrew represents an evolution of the pickup," said Efros.
"The added passenger room and convenience features, along with the
traditional F-Series work horse attributes, make this a perfect truck for
the work crew and the family crew."
