Tips
To Keep Your Car Safe
·
Park in a well-lit area.
·
If your car does not come with a standard "Anti-theft Ignition
Chip," see if one can be installed in
your car. This chip deactivates the engine
once the key is removed. Some new makes such
as the Chevrolet, Cadillacs, Ford and Chrysler
are now manufactured with this chip.
·
Get a anti-theft device such as an alarm, club or LoJack system (stolen
vehicle recovery system used by the police to
protects cars against theft by using a
tracking network.)
·
Keep valuables out of sight, including purses and shopping bags.
