The Toyota Tercel brightens up the subcompact segment for 1998, with added fun and refinement, a fresh new look, enhanced safety features, more standard equipment and a simplified model lineup. Available exclusively as a two door CE model, Tercel offers small car buyers a high value combination of sophisticated engineering, outstanding fuel economy and easy maneuverability - all backed by Toyota's rock-solid reputation for quality, reliability and durability. Tercel's updated styling is highlighted by new jeweled multi-reflector headlights, a revised grille and front fascia design and clear lens turn signal lights. Tercel's rear styling also is enhanced with expressive, redesigned combination tail lamps and updated bumper molding. The new molding extends across the entire length of the rear bumper for added protection and a seamless look.
